Dr. Late Ganpat Rai
It was 1950, when Dr. Ganpat Rai started a clinic in a village near Murthal. During that time there were no doctors around and Dr. Rai’s clinic provided medical services in 40 to 50 villages around the area. Taking inspiration from the dedicated medical services of Dr. Ganpat Rai, his sons also took up the noble profession. In 1980, Dr. Manoj Rai joined hands with his father Dr. Ganpat Rai at the clinic. The demand rose high due to the popularity of the quality medical services provided by the father-son duo, the clinic could no longer accommodate the demand of high number of patients and this led to the foundation of an ultra-modern hospital, which still stands at its current location near Murthal Flyover. The hospital became fully operational in 1988 and went through several upgrades to keep pace with the medical and technological advancements and changes going on. Now, its a fully equipped 25 bed hospital and Trauma centre with state of the art technological medical systems in practice.
